Bootup cd Virus scanner

Does anyone make a virus scanner that is the same as the one you use when you install it but instead of a bootup cd that is portable so you can bring it with you? I want same kind of high detention rate kaspersky gives. Does kaspersky make one ?

Can this kind of virus scanner scanner work just as well as the ones you install on a pc ? Does it check the memory and all system files ?
 
UBCD isn't the best, plus in my experience you have to have a wired connection to get the most current definitions.

I would use Schadenfroh's scanner script instead. You can use this on any computer and once it loads you can move on to the next one using a CD or USB drive.
