Is there a Os i can put on a flash drive to boot from so that i can scan my pc for viruses?

Hard way for those with *lots* of time: Windows XP from a USB drive (yes, it can be done, yes, from a standard USB drive, no funny BIOS hacks required). The install will be married to the original hardware, but if you've got lots of machines of the same model/type....

Much better way for pretty much everyone: BartPE, as mentioned. PlugIns are trivial to add and easy to keep up to date - then just burn another CD or slap it on another USB key.
