My HP laptop, g6t-2000 has the Intel HD 4000 + HD 7670M switchable graphics setup. I've been using leshcat's UnifL drivers for some time without issue, but just recently I attempted to update the Intel drivers and I wasn't able to boot up to my home screen for quite some time.
Long story short, I managed to roll back to the previous drivers which now work fine, however ever since I rolled back my boot up sequence has been strange.
After getting past the log in screen onto my desktop, the computer is in the Basic theme, but after a second or two, it will switch over to Aero theme automatically. I'm almost 100% positive this is something to do with the Intel driver, as my discrete graphics doesn't run until games are being played.
I've deleted and removed entirely the Intel drivers and reinstalled numerous times on my laptop, yet the issue still persists.
I couldn't find any resources on this issue online, so this was my last ditch resort. This is bugging me to no end, as I'm upgrading to an SSD and I do not want this issue to carry over. Any help is appreciated.
