I wear my boots most everyday. nothing fancy just Redwing Pecos, had this pair for 5 years now, last pair lasted almost 10. yea I got some Nikes and New Balance but I prefer my boots, no hassle with laces and boots just are easy to slip into and feel like an "old glove" around my feet. also with boots you can scrape mud and junk off the bottoms much easier than trying to get all that crap from the grooves of tennis shoe soles.

i have a pair of Ropers i wore Friday for the first time in years - the leather shrank a bit & it took time to stretch to make it comfortable again - i missed wearing them & I'm going to but a real pair next.

I prefer lace-ups but Redwing is definitely the best brand out there as far as durability.

Edit: They make running shoes too under their Vasque brand. I love my New Balance 992s but I think I'll give Vasque a try for my next pair.

I don't to work (professional office), but otherwise I'm wearing sandals or my hiking boots. They are really comfy and I see no need for any other type of shoe.

If I'm just running to the store or out with friends, I'll wear these pretty nifty slip-ons. If I'm doing any sort of work or anything, I wear my timberlands. If there's no need for shoes, I'm usually barefoot.
