bootmgr is missing

when i boot up without the vista dvd in, it says bootmgr.exe missing press control-alt-delete to restart.

can anyone help me boot my pc without the vista dvd in??

Just copy bootmgr.exe from DVD to your C: drive.
If you can't boot from the computer (if you haven't got another OS installed), press Shift-F10 and copy using the command prompt.
