Hey!

Installed windows 10 a while ago and never had problems with it but now I'm having a weird issue with my second screen, I'm using an hp laptop with amd cpu and switchable graphics (hd7660G and hd8670M) connected to a second monitor via vga.

The problem is that when I bootup my laptop with this monitor connected catalyst control center (or radeon settings in the crimson edition driver) will say that no amd graphics driver is installed and device manager says error 43 on the integraded graphics (HD7660G) and my second monitor doesn't get recognised at all and I have to reinstall the entire driver....

Here is the catch, when I disconnect my vga cable before booting up, the system works fine and no driver errors occur I can just plug in my vga cable when it is done booting and voila! everything works again

I have never seen something like this before and I have no idea why it's happening, I tried loads of amd drivers(catalyst and crimson) AND windows versions (win7 -> win10) and all of them giving the same error

Can someone help me?

Thanks!
