hi! my computer is having booting problems:

can access bios just fine

computer freezes @ "Verifying DMI Pool Data..........."

if i set it so that it boots to cdrom, itll freeze @ "Boot CD:"

ive switched ram, i dont think its the cpu (28c)

system is a celeron 1.0a, ibm 60gb hd

suggestions are appreciated 🙂

One thing to try is: enableed reset configuration data in the BIOS. If that doesn't help then boot from a 9X floppy and run FDISK/MBR.

sh*t, turns out the hd went screwy. i was finally able to boot from floppy, and when i tried to access the hd, it said NO FILES and had 7,500mb of free space left. ITS A 60GB HD!!!!! :| damn ibm....
