Booting off usb

Hi, I am wondering if I can boot a PC from USB without having to go into the bios to configure it. Is this possible? I can boot of floppy no problem, so is it possible to boot from floppy and then somehow boot from usb? (I want to boot XP from a pen drive)

Thanks!

There is a bootable USB Tool that will help you create what you need.

But you do have to have a machine that accepts booting from a USB. If it does support it but not set up in BIOS you must get into it to make the changes. No way around it.

If you must use the floppy first you will need to track down dos drivers to allow access to the USB ports. I know Norton Ghost can allow you to access them and firewire ports in a bootable floppy.

You also will need to reacquaint yourself with Batch files as you need to tell the system what files to load and use.
