booting into dos without a floppy

I wanna reformat and get rid of the spawn of satan known as winxp, but I don't have a bootable floppy and i don't have a win2k disk (its on my hd).

Does your hard drive have just one partition?

You can get a boot disk from bootdisk.com. Then you should be able to format the partition that xp is on. You can install w2k from the hard drive by executing winnt32.exe in the i386 folder. I'm not sure, but I think this would only work if it were on a FAT32 partition, and not on the same partition as your xp installation.
