Booting HP 132l alpha processor

So I have this alpha graphics wkstation with HP -UP 10 on it but I may have function for NT 4.0 number crunching.
the floppy is pooched in this sucker and not built to drop in a generic.
So does NT 40 wkstation CD boot? So far no you enter boot alt sescsi.6.0 to get it to try to boot from the second scsi conroller but just getting error -7 whatever that means?
Ideas suggestions been there done that?

Well, some of the database programs for number crunching are only developed for NT or that is what the scientists have purchased is the NT version.
I'm not agin loading linux on it but I'm finding HP-UX 10 too challenging cause I haven't had to do command line in over 7 yrs now.
Basically I set this box up yrs ago let the GIS crew deal with it and now I have it back. .

I'm trying to remember those boxes. Aren't the floppy drives using the same cable and just physically mount different? If so, can you sort of rig one up long enough to start the boot process?

I've been all over the HP site
HP-UX boots via CD so no need for floppies, NT4 cd boots but needs the firmware to support the app that starts it, the version is 2.3 , there is a 6.1 version but hell if I can find it on either the web site or ftp site 🙁
The drive is super slim with only a thin white plastic ribbon cable to it and no power connection. . .

NT was 32-bit on Alpha, seems like a waste to put that on there because of that and even more once you realize that there's virtually 0 native apps so you'll need a copy of FX!32 to run i386 binaries on it.

NT also requires AlphaBIOS, if you've only got SRM (what HP-UX, VMS, Linux, etc use) on there right now you'll have to flash it.
