How do I boot from a CD - in the CD Room with Linux (red hat 5.2) loaded onto the operating system. The reason for this is because I want to reformat and put windows on the system.

do you have a windows cd? if so set in bios the cd-rom as the first boot device, next say start computer from cd-rom, then say start computer with cd-rom support. Now type the letter of your cd-rom and type fdisk once you are at the prompt (should look like d:\ fdisk) and delete the primary partion, restart and repeat these steps, only this time when you enter fdisk select the option to create a primary partition. Once you have completed this and restarted, and you get back to d:\ type setup and run through the windows install wizzard (it will ask you to format the drive you will select yes) after that it is pretty much fullow the instructions.
