I have tried with both an Adaptec 2940UW and a Symbios-based UW card as well, with no luck. Installed in slot 2/3 as instructed for bootable scsi cards. the IBM 18gb disk is ID 0, as required for bootability. I can actually see the Symbios Boot ROM install on poweron after scanning and recognizing the disk. The problem is that they never show up in the BIOS list of bootable devices (with SATA-0/SATA-1/PATA0/PATA1/USB), so there's no SCSI device in that list to manually enable for boot... This means I can start an XP installation and have the disk formatted and the first pre-reboot files copied (the OS recognizes the card fine), but I can never reboot to the disk to complete the installation...

...closest I've come to any info has been this thread on Aaltonen.us... But I'm not gettting the same results as the poster...

Any help is appreciated :(

Thanks..
