booting computer outside of case

hey
is there a way to boot the computer outside of the case? or do you have to connect the power switch, and those LED lights to the motherboard?

<< ahh ok thanks.
when u say short, do u mean just put a jumper over it?

A jumper will do, but a piece of metal (screwdriver works great) is perhaps a better choice.

I have tested a few systems caseless on my shelf before, I actually removed the switch from a spare case I had and used that. Most of them will just unclip.
