Hello,
I recently uninstalled a proggie that was set to start on bootup into Windows (98se) and load into the sys tray. Now, upon getting into windows, I get the "searching for file" message. My question is, how do I remove the command to start that program up automatically, so Windows doesn't look for it. Make sense?

Thanks,
Otis

Go to start-run-type msconfig click on startup tab and uncheck
whatever line refers to the uninstalled program. But if you're
worried about msconfig you may get lucky and go to
Start-Programs-startup and it may be there just right click and delete.
