For the life of me, i can't get a disc to eject from my drive while booted into windows. It reports an error saying the disc can not be ejected. Is anyone else encountering this error, and is there a solution?

What methods have you tried at this point?
Right clicking on the disk in My Computer and hitting eject?
Holding the Eject key on the keyboard (assuming you have an apple keyboard)?
Past that, if nothing else, boot back into OS X and eject the disk that way... is there any chance that something is using the disk?
Have you tried rebooting?
What OS is it?
Are you using the latest bootcamp drivers?

I've used every available method for ejecting it with no avail.

The drivers are as up to date as i could find, and i'm using windows 7.

Try re-installing the drivers. A google search shows that re-installing the drivers fixed the error for some. I think the latest drivers are from the snow leopard cd? I installed those drivers over the regular leopard cd drivers and now my right click finally works on the trackpad.

Definitely try reinstalling the drivers then, I haven't had any problems in 7, so this one is kind of throwing me.

A 2nd install of the bootcamp drivers took care of the problem. So much for "just working" :disgust:.

Well, at least you got it working again, but on a side note... does Apple even use that slogan anymore?

It's on the OEM box that it was packed in.

The slogan was? I am confused now...

But yes, it is annoying when the system doesn't work like you think it should [for fun fanboy comment] however, you are talking about Windows drivers 'just working', not exactly part of the original plan[/for fun fanboy comment]

Honestly, aside from the completely absent features of the early BootCamp drivers, I haven't had any glaring problems, trackpad sensitivity here, wonky audio there, but nothing like eject not working.
