Is it possible to use an external usb hard drive as the primary system drive. Meaning boot from it, install windows on it as well as all programs. Would this just require the bios being configured to see the drive?
If the BIOS allows you to boot from USB devices, then I would think so. But I'm not sure how well Windows would handle being installed on a 'removable' device. The Operating Systems forum might be a better place to ask.
