Bootable standalone CD for stress testing processor overclocks (dual core)
It occured to me making a standalone windows install for overclocking was kind of a waste of time. Does anyone have a strip downed linux distro or something that you can use to test cpu stability?
Not Linux but if it's standalone, what does it matter. You can boot to a CD with Windows XPE using Bart's Preinstalled Environment (BartPE) bootable live windows CD/DVD. You can add the special applications that you find useful and do prelimary testing without jeopardizing your usual OS. I find it fairly easy to deal with and it certainly lowers the stress of worrying about losing your system bootability.
