You are running a freebie version of Ghost with many disabled features. Unless you can find someone that bought the same motherboard and is using the freebie version, your odds of getting help are slim. Read the manual. If you want these features, you'll probably have to buy the retail version.

Would modification of this method work for making a bootable DVD-R with Norton Ghost images and Nero?

The main "problem" with my setup is that I don't have any internal burners. I have an external DVD-R burner and external CD-RW burner (both Firewire). I do have an internal boot DVD-ROM drive though, so I was figuring I may as well just make boot DVD-Rs.

I have a Norton Ghost floppy and some < 2 GB .gho files. Biggest file is 2,124,414,976 bytes (1.97 GB).

What's the partition size limitation of the OS? The total disc size would be much less than 4 MB and like I said the largest file is (barely) under 2 GB.

Also, to back up my current drive it would be way more than 2 GB, even compressed. Is it possible to ghost this as one file and burn it to DVD-R on a bootable disc?

Read the manual!!!!!!!!! If you have an Epox MB all the help you need is in the manual. You'll see that you can't do a bootable CD just with Ghost. You need a burning software.
