boot up XP PRO from USB drive

Hi,
I'm trying to get my XP PRO Bootup DVD with all my applications to run from a usb 1 gig drive. My motherboard supports USB boot up options(MSI NEO PLATINUM). I tried this guide http://www.weethet.nl/english/...e_bootfromusbstick.php and after completion i just dumped all the files on my DVD and booted the computer. It would not read the USB drive. Is there something i'm missing or did wrong.
