Boot up problem

When I start my computer up a message comes up saying my sata drive cant be found. So I press f1 to continue and the computer works just fine winxp boots up normally. I updated the bios and everything is working just fine. I would like the get rid of the error message, but I have no clue how to.

I know on Dells in the BIOS if you have a port setup to AUTO or ON you will get a similar error message. Perhaps you should turn off SATA-2 to the off position in the BIOS. Your drive is most likely connect to a different port.

check to make sure it did not default to a raid setting.
