when i boot up this system, it counts the full 128mb memory, then counts it again and again, i mean, it's not the end of the world, i just press escape and it skips it, but it's slightly annoying, as i'd like to be able to turn my computer on, go off somewhere, and have it waiting for me
i recently formatted also, the problem happend before that too (i didn't format 'because' of it though)
oh, and this hasn't always happend

specs

FIC VA 503+ motherboard
amd k6-2 450
Kingston valueram pc100 128mb SDRAM
voodoo 3 2000agp
western digital 12.6gb hard drive

Go into your BIOS. There's an option to enable "Quick Boot." Or "Skip Memory Test." Enable that. Problem solved. Consult the manual that came w/your mobo if you're unsure what I mean by "BIOS." Good luck. :)

Yes, that's it.

Without Quick Power On Self Test, the RAM is tested 5 times.
