Boot up hard drive issues

unhuman

Senior member
Sometimes I boot up and the hard drives aren't recognized at all. Other times, they are recognized but boot fails, and other times, all is good.

I replaced the cables - no change.

This was happening alot a few months ago and went away, and now it's back.

Could it be hard drive failing? Or power supply? Ideas?

Thanks - Howie

try just using the boot drive only for a bit . up and down it a few times and run a few apps.
you didn't say how many drives and what not your running but iv'e had power supplys lose (and kill) hard drives by not being up to the load.
good luck
