Boot up beeps

When I boot up I get one beep followed by three quick beeps. The RAM doesn't seem to be causing the trouble. The motherboard is an ASUS A7M266. Is there something that tells me what the beep patterns mean?

From a BIOS beep code explanation site for an explanation of one long and three short beeps:
You've probably just added memory to the motherboard since this is a conventional or extended memory failure. Generally this is caused by a memory chip that is not seated properly. Reseat the memory chips
I'd say that, based on that, it could indeed be your RAM.
