boot time on xp

Fairly comparable to ME. If it's slower, it's a matter of a few seconds. I'll take a few second boot hit to not have to deal with something as bad as windows ME 🙂

Definitely a massive improvement over windows 2000
 
Actually, it is quite fast....until you start installing softeware. Just like in win2k.
My XP box used to boot amazingly fast, but since I installed flash, office XP, photoshop, premiere, etc..., it boot slow as hell. Right after the login, the icons take quite some time to come up. Nothing is loading on startup either.
The wonderful world of windows 🙂
