boot time is longer

after my little problem with bios (read in motherboards section) my boot time went from like 5 secs to 45 secs anyway to fix that

i would just leave the bios as it is if nothing is wrong with it. just reinstall the driver that came with it. unless you needed the update for something.

i reinstalled v3 (version i had before the issue) and its running smoothly but issue at hand is the boot time 🙂

Just to make sure, did you go back into bios and tweak the system? Like turn off RAID support if you dont use it. Make sure your first boot device is the hard-drive, turn off anything else you wont be using. Some mobo's also have an option that says to enable quick boot (w/ windows xp).
