I had win2000 pro then upgraded to xp pro, my problem is at boot up, there is a selection screen with both options, and it takes 45 sec's to go away, unless your there to click, this isnt a big problem, but its just annoying,
the win2000 option does not work, i just want to get rid of this selection screen

anyone know how to get rid of it???
thanks

You could boot your PC with the WinXP CD and start up the Recovery Console.

From the console, there is a command called BootCfg.

Use this to modify the Boot menu anyway you like.

Use "BootCfg /?" at the command-line for more info.

Right click the my computer icon - then "properties", advanced tab, startup and recovery, settings button - you can change your boot settings there as to how long that menu stays
