I had a dual boot XP/Vista machine. it used Vista's boot manager, offering me the choice of Vista or "Older Version of Windows" to boot to XP.
I installed 7, wiping the drive clean, formatting over the Vista/XP installs.
Now the machine won't boot, says "Couldn't find OS". But if I put the Win7 disc in the drive during boot, it will give me the option to boot from CD, and if I let it pass, it goes to the Boot Manager, but lists
-Windows 7
-Vista
-Vista (recovered)
-Older version of Windows
If I select 'Windows 7', the machine boots fine.
Any ideas?
