Boot problems

Whenever I re-boot my computer (Even complete cold boot) after running Win98SE, I can't start Windows 2000 Pro without crashing my system (Blue screen saying an exception wasn't properly handled pops up and then the system resets). After restarting again everything is fine. Any ideas why this happens? This is confusing because I can't see how Win98 could alter parts of Win2000, or if something totally different is happening.

Configuration ---

Partition C: - Master Boot Record/NTLoader (Nothing else)
Partition D: Win98SE
Partition -: Mandrake Linux 7
Partition F: Win2000
Partition G: Empty Space. Lots of it 😀

have you tried reparing your win2k installation? it might be something in your boot disk too.
