Boot problem

I had my computer off for the night, i just went to boot it, it took me 3 times to get it to boot because it will freeze at the windows logo, and sometimes nothing will appear on my screen ( sort of like when the video card fails) i contacted evga about the video card, they told me to talk to my psu and cpu people. I tryed ocz support but their lines were buisy, and when i called amd they told me that since i oc'd it, that i viod the warranty. Amd told me to underclock it back to what it was supposed to be, i did that. I left the computer off for a half hour and then it worked again. But i sat at the windows logo screen for about 90 seconds before it acctually got to the username screen, but once i finally get ti running, it will stay on as long as i want to untill i turn it off. So im not sure if its the video card and the processor... or if the problem is only the processor alone. Please add your input i can use all the help i can get, thank you, Cleeve.

specs:
- 2gb Ocz Ram
- 74gb western digital raptor hdd
- evga GT KO 512mb video card
- asus delux mobo

Does anything out of the ordinary appear in the event log?

You might want to try booting with confirmation to find out exactly what driver or process is taking so long to load.

i just looked at his computer and its the psu...its causing some troubles during boot up making everything slow. but one thing i cant figure out is why his raptor is so damn loud...during boot up it makes all this clicking noise. maybe the psu shorted out the hdd? what you guys think?
