boot problem

athlon xp 2400+ (133 * 15)
kingston value ram 400mhz
Abit nf7s ver 2.0
Seagate serial ATA 150 80gb 8mb cache


Lately I ve been having problems.

I ve been formatting very frequently.
I m loosing partition information on drive C.
It keeps giving me this error, UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME
Cause it is partioned. Drive D gives no probleams.

When I disable fast post, memory check runs at boot up.
My PC wont complete succesfully a memory check while running at cpu stock speed (133 * 15) and any other RAM frequency from 166 - 400 MHZ. The Memory frequency is changed by changing the cpu to memory ratio, ie 4:4, 4:5, 4:6, etc, etc

While it will complete succesfully a memory check if the processor is running at 1500Mhz (ie 100 * 15) and the RAM is running at all frequencies ranging from 133 to 400mhz.

I really cant figure out where the problem is originating.
Also I dont know if the loss of partion information is related to the CPU memory problem.
This system used to work fine since few moths ago
 
I forgot to add that the Memory check wil succesfully complete at CPU stock speed (133 * 15) and memory working at 133mhz
 
For clarification: Which is the problem? That your C is bad, or that your comp won't boot? Post is a bit confusing...
