Boot problem with presario 1625 Laptop

I have no display, it sound like h/d and cd rom are spinning. I get 1 beep followed by3 beeps, any ideas. Thanks Ed!

First off, give us a little info on your sys. Can you see the bios info when you boot up? Check the cable from the lap to the screen; make sure it's attached securely. Can you go into safe mode?

Can you hook an external monitor up to it and see if its working?

I dont see a BIOs screen, I hooked up a monitor still no display

Thats not a good sign, reseat the ram and hope for the best.

Have you checked the cable between the screen and lap? They sometimes come apart...
