Boot options

I would like to use the Windows boot manager instead of GRUB or LILO or whatever for booting into Linux/Winows. I found a way to do this it's just that:
1) I am running XP home, not Win2000 or XP pro, I hope this isn't a problem?
2) Does this actually work?

I will be doing all that on a laptop machine which already has two boot options: Windows XP and Windows (console simmilar to recovery console). I will want to add Linux RedHat 9 to that.
