Hi, just recently I had some problems with a missing NTLDR during bootup.
I did something in Partition Magic that was apparently wrong..

Anyways I played with my win2k install cd and finally was able to get into windows. However this is a 2nd a install of windows that is on a different drive from the original install of windows.

As I got into my 2nd win2k, I wanted to set it to boot by default into my original win2k (in startup and recovery). However my original win2k isnt among the available O/S.

The drive containing the original win2k is untouched, all the files seem to be there.

How can I get my computer to recognise my original win2k, so that I can get back into it.. ?

Thank you very much for any help!

When you installed 2K on the other drive, did you disable the existing drive in BIOS ?
That's the only way to make both independently bootable - otherwise, NTLoader has issues.
Try another boot manager, like bootmanager, grub or LILO.
