I'm getting a blue screen whenever I boot up, after it says loading Windows Xp, it says stop - fatal system error, then a bunch of stuff. There is nothing I can type in or do once I get the blue screen. So someone told me to boot off the winxp cd and try to restore. Well I put the cd in, and I still get the blue screen, there is nothing I can do. I don't have a floppy disk to boot off if thats even possible in XP. Is there anyway to reinstall XP, or fdisk the drive and start all over without haveing a floppy disk?
Thanks for any help, I'm desparate.

You have to go into your BIOS and tell it to boot off the CD. I did this by disabling the hard drive as a bootable device so the next thign it went to is the CDROM. Just remember you have to set the drive back to bootable when your done with the restore/install. Hope that helps.

Go into the BIOS on your motherboard and change your boot sequence to CDROM. This will allow you to boot from the WINXP CDrom and utilize the recovery tools....
