boot me

Hey all. I have a little problem - I deleted Windows as part of a standard reinstall, and accidentally deleted the boot files as well, and whenever I try to boot off the hard disk, it just asks me for 'Windows loaders'. Now my Windows CD-ROM (which I thought was bootable) doesn't work. The computer doesn't even seem to be trying to read the CD. Also, my floppy boot disk doesn't give me access to the hard drive (though it does on my laptop). I'm using an ASUS P3B-F motherboard and WinME. Can anyone please help? 🙁

The WinMe boot disk contains some drivers on it that Win98 doesnt..very helpful if you are trying to boot to SCSI with a late model adaptor.

Hey guys, thanks for your help.
I ended up just formatting - good excuse for not doing my homework and losing that pesky English assignment 😀
