Boot manager?

is there a file in windows xp that keeps track of what oses you have installed? im asking because i installed styleXP, and when i uninstalled it, for some reason winxp lists me as having 2 oses. (one is called: Windows XP Home, the other is Windows XP Home (bootscreen))

Right click on "my computer"
choose properties
hit the advanced tab
click on statup and recovery
from there you can set up default OS's and the time it takes for them to automatically load
