I'm trying to figure out how to boot a generic bootable ISO through PXE.
My ultimate goal is to be able to boot a computer or VM that supports PXE, get a list of possible operating system installs (both windows and linux distros) and bootable utilities (BartPE and stuff like that) and be able to pick one to boot from.
So far the only things I've managed to boot through PXE are floppy disk images, Microsoft's Singularity beta, and a few Linux distro setups that can be installed directly from the internet through PXE.
I've tried to go about this a few ways. I found a few tutorials for booting BartPE via PXE, but I never got any of them to work. I've also tried to boot ISOs mounted as iSCSI targets, but I did not get very far with that either.
Has any one ever tried to setup something like this? with any success?
