I am running Win ME on my Primary 30GB hard Drive. I would like to install WIN 98 on my secondary (slave) 13GB hard drive and be able to boot into WIN98 on the slave drive occassionally on startup instead of Win ME. Is this possible? And if so how do I go about setting this up?

Thanks

I know this isn't a answer, but why are you using ME, and what can ME do yor you that 98 won't.
I am currently using xp pro and it has settings that allow you to select a pseudo os for the programs that are older. I haven't tried it yet.

Install your HDDs in mobile racks. They have key switches, and you can turn them on and off externally and boot with which ever one you want.

There are also such things as panel switches for drives w/o using mobile racks. I'm surprised more people don't figure that out. A set of selectable drives by power switch is much better than a dual boot. You can also duplicate your drive and anytime you get blitzed on one (virus or whatever) power off, switch and reboot.

However, having said that, jpl591 has a good question. There is so little difference between 98SE and ME that it begs the question.

Yes I know it sounds stupid to have a WIN ME and WIN 98 dual setup since other than ME "Bloat" they are basically the same system; but, as dumb as it sounds, it is something I need to try and I won't bore you with the reasons. Anyway removable hard drive racks won't work for me. Is there a software program that allows you to chose the OS right after BIOS loads and before the OS starts to load?

Thanks
