Boot.ini

When I boot I get the screen which asks which system I want to boot. There are 2 options, both XP. I only have XP installed and only one instance of it. In System, Advanced, Startup and Recovery, settings the Default Operating system window is blank. Selecting edit gives me

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows="Microsoft Windows XP Home" /fastdetect
[operating systems]

What can I do to keep the select operating system window from coming up during start up?

Thanks

I'd considered that but the default selected XP install to boot will give an error if allowed to boot because it's trying to boot an install that doesn't exist. I'd like to find a way to remove the option that will give a fault. Where exactly does this screen source it's information?
