Boot from thumbnail drive?

My first attempt failed. Thought I'd see if anybody knows if this is possible before trying again.

It has to be an option on your bios, but if it is I am sure you could use slax, in a previous thread today, and get-er-dun. (You must have a large enough drive though, and the previous thread was on flash drive booting)
