Boot from CD option wont show on Post

Hi all. I am trying to fix a windows problem and want to boot to a CD. I have set the boot sequence correctly. When I start the computer it goes from splash screen to a blank screen with a flashing curser and thats as far as I can get.

The flashing cursor with a blank screen usually means that the system went to some other place to seek the boot sequence, but could not find it. If you have any external drives (USB) disconnect them.
