I'm trying to install winxp on the system I just built...I'm using boot disk i made on a friend's comp...but there is no fdisk on the disk, what gives? I have an old boot disk from win95, could I format my HD using that disk and still install winxp?

sorry for the noob questions, but thats what i am.

thanks

Bacillus is right - but don't forget, you have to set your CD ROM drive as a bootable drive in BIOS first or it won't boot there.
