Some strange problem i got my ATA HDD installed as slave (with jumper configured for being slave) on ide channel one. Cd-ROM installed as slave on ide channel two (with jumper congigured for cable sellect).

The problem is when i turn pc off and remove power from cable from socket, the first time i turn pc on after that it boots from cd-rom and tells boot media not found insert and click any key when i click reset or turn of and turn back on (without removing from power socket) it fixes and works fine until i disconnect power again.

Someone know what i can do to fix it?

You need to set those devices to Master if they're the only device on the channel, and plug them in to the end of the cable, not the plug in the middle(if using a two device cable). I'm surprised you ever got it to boot with no Master devices..but the Cable Select setting prolly saved you the headache.
