Boot Device LED Solid Red Until Windows Boots Up

I have noticed this just of now. Every time I boot up my computer, the boot device LED is solid red and then disappears once windows loads. I have no issues as of yet and everything seems to run normally but I just want to make sure. My CPU fans are fine and everything runs normally, is this normal for the boot device led to be solid red upon start up and to disappear within 2-5 or seconds?

CPU: AMD FX 8350 8 Core

Motherboard: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
 
That is probably a HDD activity LED. On my case that light is red and is lit until windows boots, it just means that something is being read or written to the hard drive, in this case it is reading windows.
