Question Boot and web browsing speed in 512GB vs 1TB SATA III SSD.

I have a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB 2.5” SSD and was wonder if I should get a 512GB or the same 1TB for my notebook. It current has a older 850 Pro 256 GB that is around 3-4 years old. I remember that that the larger the SSD, the better the performance. Do not know by how much?

Anyone care to give an opinion? I try to see if it is only minor like 5% difference or if it larger difference between the two sizes.
