Okay, so every so often I buy clothes from this cool boston-based store called karmaloop... www.karmaloop.com

They have some really cool clothes, but recently they started carrying this brand of headphones/speakers that are kinda that "street style"

Anyway, I thought these headphones looked pretty cool

Recently my nice pair of sony headphones, that I got for $50 about 5-7 years ago finally bit the dust, and I was looking for a replacement earmuff style replacement... anyone even heard of this brand, or anything good/bad about them? And check out the website, you cant tell me they don't look awesome, i mean who doesn't want a pair of headphones that look like they're from the 70s?

If you want a more vintage looking headphone, get Grados. Btw, Head-Fi.org is a very informative forum on headphone.

judging by their specs they lie about, they wont sound great. example: ? Frequency Response: 5-20KHz,
there is no way this thing reproduced down to 5 hz

slim profile answer/end call button and in-line microphone for use with mobile phone

Having that in the description set off warning bells to the audio quality of these heapdhones before I even saw the specifications. I doubt they're going to sound that great, like moonboy says if you're looking for that style of headphones you're much better off getting a pair of Grados. I think you can get a pair of Grado SR-60s for not much more than these headphones.

the sr-60s are on ear phones and are not very sturdy, but sound great. for a sturdy phone with good isolation you should look at the sony mdr-v6 they are the phones used by most studios and live mixers. if you are looking just for the style, check out koss, the audio quality will not be as good as the grados or the sony, but they will look more like what you linked.

The grados and mdr-v6 are two very distinctive sounding headphones though. The grados have a very colored sound while the sony is very analytical and has a very flat frequency response which can sound boring to some. OP should really try out some headphones to see which sound signature you like.
