I've got boomboxes in my kids' rooms for nighttime music. The CD player on one of them has died and I'm thinking of replacing it with a small mp3 player and a little set of speakers.
Working within about a $50-60 budget for both player and speakers, what's my best bet?
For the player, I don't need anything fancy (obviously, at this price point) - just something that I can hit play on and have loop the classical I load up all night.
Similarly, on the speakers, nothing fancy, just plugged into the player (preferrably, unpowered to save the cables).
Am I going to be able to do this or should I just buy a new boombox?
