There was a local announcement about new enforcement in Buffalo, NY about "Boom Wagons". Generally, about the intrusiveness of loud vehicles, especially those with a lot of Bass. I was just wondering about the general population of AT.

I wouldn't consider my car per say a "boom wagon" but I have 400WRMS/800WMax to two 10" subs that hit when I turn it up. But it's not enough to rattle windows.

And I usually keep it turned down at stop lights or traffic.

The thing about the law being passed here in Buffalo is the proposal to outlaw even having a system in your car, whether you played it loud or not.
That said, I think "Boom Wagon" is one of the gayest terms I've ever heard.

Hm, I didn't get to hear all of it. I just turned on the radio the other day and they were having a discussion on the Shred and Regan show (103.3) about it. I couldn't find any documentation about it either.

2400w(subs)/3000w(amps) system taking up entire trunk in my 90 camaro... was a hobby like 8 years ago but still have everything. had a pic of my current setup somewhere need to find it. I did it for competitions and such not to be an annoyance or bragging rights.

I only turn it up on the highway or distant backroads. Other than that it never goes past halfway. I hate napping/sleeping and all of a sudden pictures on the wall start rattling... So I dont to that either.

I do on occasion demo my car in work competitions.

There has always been laws here but lots of cars from the specific distance do not go above the... i believe 60db noise limit. It just sounds like it being a low tone. Most noise offenses get thrown out of court with sufficient testing.
