Well what kind of stuff do you like? I love Martin Amis, as you can tell by my name; in particular I would recommend Money, London Fields, and The Information by him. I have also fallen in love with Haruki Murakami's work; everything I have read by him has been fantastic.

One of my favourite books of all time is Red Earth and Pouring Rain by Vikram Chandra, just a wonderful journey.

Currently I am working my way through In Search of Lost Time by Proust, brilliant so far.

Of course I mainly read fiction, so if you want non-fiction you should porobably ask someone else.

The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian
The Bloody Crown of Conan
The Conquering Sword of Conan

3 books containing the original versions of Robert E. Howard's Conan stories in the order he wrote them.
