If so, which one(s)?

I just purchased "Computer Repair With Diagnostic Flowcharts: Troubleshooting PC
Hardware" and I'm always reading Computer Shopper, altho C.S. isn't like it used to be.

I wish Toms Hardware came in a monthy magazine.....

No, just an old hardware textbook from college. Everything in hardware changes often enough that books aren't too useful, and magazines like Computer Shopper are weeks to months out of date by the time they reach you.

I have shelves of books and magazines, but they are on programming and software development which changes much more slowly. For them "old" topics are still useful since you often are using older ways of doing things (C++, Win32, MFC) even though newer ways exist (C#, .NET) side-by-side in the same operating system.

I get Computer Power User (CPU) magazine. They usually have a couple interesting things to read on the road.
